Arrest made in Knoxville shooting

Update: Raymon Brown, 19, of Knoxville, has been arrested in connection to the July 20 shooting. His charges include aggravated assault, criminal attempt, carrying a firearm without a license, and criminal conspiracy.

 PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is releasing video that shows two individuals who are believed to be the actors in a shooting that occurred on July 20 in Knoxville. Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Brownsville Road in Knoxville at approximately 12:37 a.m. for a call that a female had been shot multiple times in the chest. According to the investigation, two Black males were seen fleeing the scene on foot and may have ran down Reifert Street. Paramedics transported the 47-year-old victim from Carrick to a local hospital in critical condition.

A Dodge Caravan was also struck twice by gunfire.  This investigation is on going.
