*EUR was On the Scene at OWN Studios, conversing with inspirational maven, Iyanla Vanzant, about presidential candidates, challenging fixes, and who fixes her.

EUR: What person in media right now would you say needs to do their work?

Iyanla Vanzant: I can’t really answer that because there isn’t anyone in media that I’ve really spoken to … to understand. We all need to do our work but I wouldn’t say from my opinion who needs to do their work. I know there’s work I need to do … which is challenge one of our presidential candidates on being dishonorable and disrespectful to women about their physical attributes. Because that … person who is a father of a daughter and a husband of a woman, needs some correction and I got just the thing they need.

Iyanla: Fix My Life Season 3 Q&A

EUR: Who does Iyanla Vanzant go to for fixing?

Iyanla Vanzant: I have a posse. I’ve got prayer partners. I’ve got coaches. I’ve got good friends, who are more sane, than me on most days and tell me the truth about my humanness. I’ve got children. I’ve got grandchildren. My grandchildren keep me in order, because they are not impressed with me and that keeps it real. They really don’t care that I’m on TV. They want to know if I brought them the little soap and shampoo from the hotel.

EUR: Who was one of the most challenging guest’s fixes you encountered?

Iyanla Vanzant: None of them are really challenging. The greatest challenge that I faced would have been Earl Simmons (DMX) because they didn’t tell truth. He was under the influence and did not acknowledge that. The depth of disrespect of himself. Not to me, of himself, to behave that way in front of his son.

Watch “Iyanla: Fix My Life” on OWN starting this Saturday, September 19 at 9/8c.
