Knowledge is power and education is the key to success in today’s society.
Over the past few weeks, students have returned back to school to embark on their educational journeys and start the 2015-2016 academic school year.
In the midst of preparing our youth for the school year, it is important that we also make sure students are prepared with school supplies, along with other necessary tools to be successful in the classroom.
To aid in getting students their tools, Latasha Lee and Latia Lee held the back -to-school event, “Brub Day,”  on August 22 at Sheraden Park.

“We wanted too give back to the youth in a different way. We hosted a back to school drive so that children in the community would be excited about going back to school with supplies needed for a successful school year,” event organizer Latasha Lee said.
