SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
Port Authority is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to be responsible for all mechanical related aspects of Authority systems, facilities, buildings, tunnels, subways, and light rail transit system.  Ensures projects adhere to the scope, budget, and schedule as well as interfaces with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholder representatives.  Provides engineering and technical support in the maintenance and operation of various mechanical systems including: drainage, plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), escalators, elevators, fire protection, safety and related equipment.
Job requirements include:
•BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field from an accredited school.
•Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in managing projects, including design and construction of job-related work.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Valid driver’s license in any state or commonwealth with ability to obtain PA driver’s license within sixty (60) days of employment.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows
Preferred attributes:
•Experience in design and/or construction of mechanical equipment in facilities and/or public infrastructure and systems.
•Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain such registration through reciprocity within one year of appointment.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

RECOVERY COORDINATOR
(Part-time)
Allegheny HealthChoices, Inc. (AHCI), located in downtown Pittsburgh, seeks a Recovery Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours/­week).  This individual will provide a personal perspective on treatment and recovery for the Allegheny County behavioral health system (mental health and substance use disorder services).
Primary Responsibilities include:
•Act as a change agent to impact the recovery culture in the behavioral health service system
•Participate in meetings, trainings, and educational activities with the purpose of providing a service user and recovery-oriented perspective at these activities
•Organize and facilitate meetings and trainings
•Problem solve with people who use behavioral health services on Medicaid benefit issues
Position requires an understanding of behavioral health service models from the users’ perspective.  Post-secondary education, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. This individual will be required to independently travel to frequent meetings throughout the area. Candidate must possess a valid drivers license, or the ability to independently travel to these meetings.

WPXI, the NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh, is seeking a Managing Editor who has a passion for news, thinks strategically and can lead a team to deliver great stories on multiple platforms.  Pittsburgh is the most competitive LPM market in the country, so we need a high-energy, hard-working collaborator who brings it every day.
The ideal candidate will be a team-builder who is able to lead a talented team of journalists in day-to-day news coverage as well as in major breaking news and weather events.  Working closely with the News Director and other News Managers, the Managing Editor is responsible for successfully executing a daily strategy that’s in alignment with WPXI’s commitment to serving its community through strong journalism.
In addition to having great editorial judgment and strong people skills, the Managing Editor will be proactive and organized.  The job will include juggling short-term and long-term projects, working with our strategic partners, using research to create results-oriented plans and regularly providing constructive feedback.  More specifically, the responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
•Ensuring consistent, outstanding daily coverage of the news on all platforms
•Overseeing daily and long-term investigative assignments and content creation
•Coaching and providing regular feedback to reporters, managing a development plan for each of them
•Executing on strategic plans developed through research
•Handling several administrative duties as assigned by the News Director
•Serving as the primary editorial and legal decision maker when the News Director is not available
