Celebrities join ‘Selling it: In the ATL’ cast at red carpet premiere (photos)

ATLANTA — The debut of the highly-anticipated new WE tv reality show “Selling It: In The ATL” contained all the requisite ingredients for a delicious social cocktail: it kept the audience’s attention rapt by taking them on multiple emotional rollercoaster rides; engrossed its viewers with drama at regular interviews; featured many wits-matching between strong-willed women; and the show had subplots that were thicker than an Eric Jerome Dickey novel.
In other words, the audience loved it.

Looks like WE tv has another hit on its hands, based upon the raucous response from the urban sophisticates in attendance at the hour-long preview the inside the Rich Theater of the Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown Atlanta on Tuesday. Many celebs were also in attendance including “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks, singer Demetria McKinney, actress Claudia Jordan, Carl Anthony Payne, Mushiya of “Cutting it in the ATL,” TV personality Egypt Sherrod,
The first of the six, one-hour episodes of “Selling It: In The ATL” will premiere on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 10 pm ET.  The new series closely follows the success of its sister series, “Cutting It: In The ATL,” which reached 4.5 million total viewers and ranked as a top five new unscripted summer series among women 25-54, prompting a second season renewal.

“Selling It: In The ATL” is produced for WE tv by World of Wonder and Kingdom Reign Entertainment.  For World of Wonder, the series is executive produced by Randy Barbato, Fenton Bailey and Tom Campbell and co-executive produced by Andrew Hoagland, Anthony Sylvester and Sheree Whitfieldcenter, is one of the show’s executive producers.
