New Pittsburgh Courier

Overtime 11-18-15…The revolution/war will not be televised…it’s gone hi-tech!

BILL NEAL

:10—This goes out to Pittsburgh and the national Pittsburgh Courier family, and there is no hiding around here. Be careful what you do, be careful where you go, watch your surroundings, be aware, watch – your – back…and others. This is a global war and the enemy is color blind. They’ll blow-up anything that moves.  And don’t think for one minute it can’t happen to you. “The revolution/war will not be televised…it’s gone hi-tech! Word to the wise.
:09—You’ve read where I’ve said that “Big Ben” is not worth the $100 Million they’re paying him. Well he may not be worth a $100M, but he’s in the $50 Million conversation. When he comes into the game things change and in a hurry.

:08—Yes I am at the game, why do you keep asking that? I’ve got 60 years in the P.R. business, I’ve earned it man!  Oh by the way Kevin Cameron no thanks to you. But don’t worry about me Kev, I’ll be all-right! I don’t need no Aliquippa hook-up, you take care of your VIPs. The rest of you…Don’t worry where I am at.  Let’s just get Cleveland out of town.
:07—Truth be told, the Cowboys use to be my back up team when the Steelers went down. Oh come on now you know you gave serious props to Troy Aikman, Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith and the playmaker Michael Irvin. But Lord knows it’s impossible to like America’s so called team now a days. Jason Garrett has lost his coaching power, no team control or discipline, Dez Bryant thinks he’s the coach and jinx or not the boys haven’t won a game since they brought domestic assault abuser Greg Hardy to the squad. More like America’s psycho team.
:06—I am with the dad on the T.V. commercial when he shakes his head and says “no” to the trophy his little boy received for participating. For participating? Learn it…earn it…own it!!! And I know you agree “Braddock Boy” V.P. of the “know it all club!”
:05—Ladies and Gentlemen…Chip Anderson! No not that Chip Anderson, the other one, the one that’s gonna marry Ms. Michelle Washington-Jackson-Jefferson…oh you know who I mean. Anyway let’s be reminded Chip is a veteran Pittsburgh baller.  He D’d you up at the “y” he D’d you up at Trees Hall and he D’d you up in the Connie Hawkins League. Now you know. Congratulations you two. It couldn’t happen for two better people. Now you’re both in the locker room. (I’m no fool, this will pay off in the long run…trust me!)
:04—Just a question here.  Is “Black Friday” just for Black people to shop?  I am just sayin’. (Oh shut up please. The first time you heard it that’s what you thought too.)
:03—The good news is PITT beat Duke 31-13 (Play that as a Big Four number) anyway PITT beat Duke like they got caught upstairs with someone else’s woman!  The bad news is our basketball team has to play theirs.  Can you say payback?  It could get ugly.
:02—Speaking of PITT, and I was.  You would know that if you would just pay attention.  By now you know the PITT–Gonzaga game was cancelled at halftime in Japan with PITT winning 37-35 due to a wet floor. #1 Gonzaga has a very good team with a top-level front court and ranked #11 in the country. #2 Looks like Coach Dixon’s shake-up plan with new recruits is going to work. #3 Japan, Japan, Ja-pan…with all your superior technology and shrimp fried rice you can’t keep the floor dry!?! C’mon Man.
:01—You can stop with all the questions and the worry about Ryan Shazier and if he can survive in the NFL. I think his 100 tackles a game answers the question.  The dude is everywhere on the field!
