HARRISON DREHJER (2) Clairton took the opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown and the rout was on as the Bears won 40-0 over Jeannette.
RONNIE JONES (8) Central Catholic, rushed for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns and had 2 touchdowns called back in the Vikings 24- 17 win over Penn-Trafford in the WPIAL Class AAAA championship game.
RASHAD WHEELER (12) Central Catholic, a Pitt recruit, had a 6 yard interception return for a touchdown in the Vikings win.
JASSIR JORDAN (5) Aliquippa, rushed for one touchdown and threw the winning touchdown pass to teammate Thomas Perry on a half back option play for the Quips 44-38 win.
SHELDON JETER (11) Aliquippa quarterback, rushed for one touchdown in the Quips win.
KAEZON PUGH—Aliquippa, sheds South Fayette defenders on a sweep, Pugh, a Pitt recruit, rushed for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Quips 44-38 win in WPIAL Class AA championship game.
WAYNE WADE, Clairton head coach, won his 2nd WPIAL championship as he guided the Bears to the win.
ROY HALL Jeannette’s head coach led the Jayhawks to the WPIAL Class A championship game.
