Family and lifestyle expert Daisy Teh, in partnership with non-contract wireless carrier Cricket Wireless, has selected Love T. Nolan Elementary in College Park, Ga., and West Clayton Elementary in Atlanta as two of 16 schools nationwide that are making a positive difference in their student culture.
The event featured $1,000 presentations from representatives from Cricket Wireless presenting giant checks to school staff members. This effort is intended to help shed light on Love T. Nolan’s involvement with ‘Page Turners Make Great Learners’ and Pearl and Young Knights Mentoring at West Clayton.
The presentation is the culmination of Cricket’s ‘Go Positive’ campaign, whichasked people throughout the country to nominate school-backed programs that embrace and nurture student positivity. The month long initiative received an outpouring of support, generating over 500 nominations in just a few weeks time.
