Cam Newton and longtime girlfriend, Kia Proctor, welcomed a baby boy into the world, the superstar NFL quarterback announced.
The Carolina Panthers MVP candidate, 26, and Porter, 27, have been dating since 2013 and made their first public appearance together at that year’s Kentucky Derby. Hazel is a model and former stripper who used to work at the DC Stadium Club in Washington, dancing under the name Hazel, according to playerwives.com and blacksportsonline.com. This is where Newton met the bronze bombshell and she … well … danced her way into his heart.
Kia has lived in both Maryland and Virginia while she was growing up, according to Heavy.com. She currently lives in Atlanta, where Newton is originally from (he actually born and raised in suburban College Park, Ga.)
Newton, known for his elaborate and sometimes controversial touchdown dances, recently performed his special “rock the cradle” touchdown dance in a game against the Falccons, which was was a direct reference to becoming a new father. While Newton wouldn’t comment on this touchdown dance at the time, it was to celebrate the new young life.
