Lifestyles Report…Thank you 2015

This year, I dined with a good friend and I would like to thank Lolly Jackson and her family for allowing me to be a part of their family. I would also like to thank Maryann Howard, we started off Christmas morning having breakfast at a local hotel and then that afternoon I joined the Bailey family for dinner. The Baileys sure can cook and I want to thank them all for making Christmas day special. We exchanged gifts and had a great day. But I did not know that playing Monopoly was such a long drawn out game.
I had some minor surgery last month and my longtime friend Jan Bates escorted me to the hospital for the outpatient surgery. Everything turned out fine and we ended up having a great day. Thank you, Jan.
I received a very nice surprise during my last visit to the hair salon. When I got to the counter to pay my bill someone had already paid it for me. I was shocked and grateful. I’m getting my hair done at Divine in Penn Hills and a very special lady by the name of Kathy paid for my hair. She is a customer there as well. That was just so special and when those types of things happen you want to do kind things for others, you know, pay it forward.
I’d like to thank all the people who have invited me into their home, into their lives and into their very special events. The year 2015 was not a bad one and I’m looking forward to a dynamic 2016. I always have some special and different things in the back of my mind that I want to do for the New Pittsburgh Courier. Let’s see if this year I can pull it off. I’m going to need your help, so when I ask you to be in a picture for my year in review page don’t be surprised and don’t be disappointed if you have to wait until the end of the year to see that picture.
