City League Middle School championships …U-Prep wins boys, Colfax takes girls

The Colfax Girls won their second straight City League Middle School Championship with a 40-32 overtime win over Obama Academy.
SAYON BENNETT of U-Prep, a smooth 7th grader scored 13 points, to lead U-Prep to a 50-32 win over South Hills in the middle school championship game.

EMMA WAITE (35) of Colfax drives the lane against Aaliyah Davis of Obama Academy. Waite scored 16 points to lead Colfax to a 40-32 overtime win.
