To Tell The Truth…My God is awesome

Every Sunday I am in attendance at New Destiny C.M.E. Church and last Sunday the minister, Rev. Mario Murphy delivered a stirring sermon, which was a reminder of how awesome our God is and has been since the beginning. He spoke about God’s presence even when we were in the bowels of the slave ships crossing the great oceans. We were reminded that in our darkest hours God was a beacon of light that illuminated a path to occupy the White House. There is no question that we have come a mighty long way and as we look around our homes, communities, churches, and schools it is apparent that we have some serious problems. It is my personal conviction that too many of us who truly believe in the God are dragging our feet and are failing to put the necessary effort in doing his bidding. What are his biddings?
