NEED Scholarship Dinner
    MARCH 3—NEED will host its 53rd annual Scholarship Dinner at 6 p.m. at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Hotel, 600 Commonwealth Place, Downtown. The theme is “Their Education Matters.” This event celebrates the corporate, academic and community partnerships that make it possible to give generous contributions. Fifty high school students will be awarded scholarships. KDKA’s Lynne Hayes-Freeland will serve as the mistress of ceremonies and a reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Ceramic Tile Event
    MARCH 5—The Dignity & Respect Council of Greater Pittsburgh will host its 3rd annual Ceramic Tile Quilt Event from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Society for Contemporary Craft, 2100 Smallman St., Strip District. March is Women’s History Month and this event recognizes the many cultures there are to help other women and raises awareness of domestic violence. The ceramic quilt will be displayed at the Center for Victims. Reservations are required. For more information, visit www.dignityandrespect.org.
