Vice President of Business Development
Duolingo, Inc. seeks Vice President of Business Development in Pittsburgh, PA. Duties: Responsibilities will include: (i) managing and facilitating resources and people in relation to developing the company’s technology business; (ii) lead all business development activities including new business models and new revenue sources; (iii) find, contact and develop international expansion opportunities; (iv) managing all sale systems of the business; and (v) liaising and negotiating with outside parties on behalf of Duolingo, Inc., including business and technical contacts (especially those in Latin America), merchandisers, major mobile partners, and service providers. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field. Five years of progressively responsible experience in business development and sales (especially in the Latin American region). Experience must include: (i) working with senior management to align business and sales strategies and solutions; (ii) a proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads; (iii) working with international customers and partners, specifically in the Latin American market; and (iv) leading multifunctional teams.
