WILKINSBURG BOROUGH MANAGER

Wilkinsburg, a dynamic and historic first-ring suburb of Pittsburgh, with both major highway and busway access, seeks an experienced full time manager to help direct our continued forward momentum.  With a population of just under 16,000 in just over 2 square miles, Wilkinsburg possesses a unique architectural inventory, a vibrant downtown, a diverse growing population and a positive outlook.

Reporting to a Council of nine, the Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the Borough including oversight of an 11 million dollar annual budget and supervision of department heads.  The ideal candidate will be creative and accountable, while championing strong communication and team building.  A proven track record in community and economic development, grant writing and financial management is highly desired.

Salary:  Shall be commensurate with experience, with an attractive benefit package.

Minimum Education Qualifications:  Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science; Master’s in Public Policy or Master of Business Administration preferred.

Experience: The qualified candidate shall have a minimum of five years’ experience in governmental management and at least three years with direct staff supervision.

Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Analyst Senior (Multiple Openings)
The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. has multiple openings for Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Analyst Senior in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsible for participating in the Decision Analytics team supporting strategy initiatives and execution. Specific duties include: (i) identify opportunities to improve strategies and processes through sound data- based analyses; (ii) design and implement initiatives utilizing segmentation strategies based on customer behavior and transactional profile analysis; (iii) provide analytics for transactional fraud authorization decisioning and optimization to mitigate fraud losses; (iv) conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and deliver presentations with sound recommendations and insights to business partners and management team; (v) conduct research projects relating to fraud trends and customer impacts, including project design, data collection, analysis, summary of finding and presentation of results; (vi) assess strategy P&L to establish appropriate profit and loss trade-offs and maximize business benefits by analyzing impact on revenue, spending and risk; and (vii) establish and maintain effective fraud mitigation strategy development and performance tracking to ensure that strategies are performing as expected.
Master’s degree in Economics/Applied Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathemathics or Finance plus 1 year of experience conducting data analysis for the financial services industry is required. Experience must include: (i) handling, manipulation and analysis of datasets greater than 1 million records; (ii) credit risk or fraud risk analysis; (iii) statistical data analysis and statistical decision tree; (iv) assessing P&L for credit strategies and credit policies; (v) utilizing data query tools including SQL and SAS to manipulate, analyze and interpret credit bureau and other financial databases; (vi) writing and implementing SAS programs and macros for reporting, automation and data analysis for portfolio performance monitoring; and (vii) advanced database management (writing complex SQL queries, performing UNIX commands), advanced tools and software including SQL, UNIX, SAS Enterprise Miner, advanced Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint.

Launch Program Eligibility Coordinator – Part time
Position Summary
The Program Eligibility Coordinator will assist the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) in securing student benefits related to Bank on Greater Pittsburgh (BOGP). The Program Eligibility Coordinator is responsible for recruitment, reviewing information that impacts recipient benefits; processing eligibility transactions and coordinating with the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh and CCAC Student Services operations.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED, CCAC affiliated individual or student with at least 30 credits and a QPA of 3.0 or above. Previous work history, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
This is a grant-funded position.  Continued funding is contingent upon program performance and funding availability.
