Peach and Pomegranate “Arnie Palmer’s”, macaroons, violets and fabulous hats were the centerpiece of the 18th Annual PNC Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Spring Hat Luncheon on May 7.
On this beautiful sunny Saturday more than 500 gathered in Frick Park and passed through the Reynold’s Street Gatehouse, the very first restoration project that the popular hat luncheon made possible.
Over the years more than 7 million dollars has been raised and 14 restoration projects have been completed said Meg Cheever, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. She thanked the efforts of this year’s co-chairs: Emily Mack Jamison, Ramsey Lyons, Charlene Petrelli, Kiya Tomlin, Christy Wiegand and all who make the luncheon possible each year.
Mark your calendars for next year’s luncheon to be held on May 6, 2017 in Schenley Park.
