Small Business Grant Contest
THROUGH MAY 30—FedEx is now accepting applications for its fourth annual Small Business Grant Contest. This year, the contest will offer grants to ten small businesses, from a total pool of $100,000. Social Media Workshop
MAY 26—The African American Chamber of Commerce will host a Social Media Workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in its 9th Floor conference room at the Koppers Building, 436 Seventh Ave., Downtown. The workshop will cover strategies for effectively using platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to expand business presence.
