Pittsburgh’s homicide rate is nowhere close to Chicago’s and other large Urban Cities but the percentages of Black lives, especially Black males are the same. At least Pittsburgh Black communities have recognized street and domestic violence as a serious problem and have started working toward a solution. But thus far that outrage, marches, and rallies are not occurring in other cities. We must continue the fight to bring this fight to the front in the Black struggle for survival.—Ulish Carter
