Actor and comedian Leslie Jones has been the object of reprehensible streams of hate on Twitter after the “Saturday Night Live” comedian skyrocketed to stardom via the popular Allstate commercials and especially the Ghostbusters remake.
Instead of celebrating her enviable feats, the vivacious Jones had to fend off shockingly vile and vicious Twitter posts from debased and depraved trolls that reduced her to tears during her special weekend.
The other night, Jones said she was going to stop blocking her haters and expose them for the incorrigible racist and sexist that they are:
A couple of celebrities quickly came to her defense, noting that if someone is trying to “pull you down, they are already beneath you.”
Still, Jones poured her heart out in poignant rants about the legion of haters who referred to her as a gorilla and extremely ugly. Take a look at what she had to say, which may break your heart:
It’s so sad, most of these comments sound like they are from ignorant children. “I’m the source of AIDS?!” WTF!! These people hate themselves

I’m so tired of it. Why is this still a fight? I want to hate so bad but I can’t because I know it doesn’t fix anything and just make me sad
