Pittsburgh, PA.—Maiello, Brungo & Maiello is pleased to announce that Julia Wu recently joined the firm as an Associate. She will focus her practice in the areas of corporate, business and real estate law.
Prior to joining Maiello, Brungo & Maiello, Ms. Wu began her legal career practicing civil litigation with a Michigan firm. After relocating to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ms. Wu went on to practice with a distinguished family law and estate litigation firm, specializing in high-net worth individuals and small business owners.
Wu was elected by her peers to serve on Council for the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association and was appointed as the
Zone 12 Chair, representing the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area, in the Pittsburgh Bar Association.
Ms. Wu also serves on the Young Professionals Board of Junior Achievement, a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing and educating young people about entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
Ms. Wu obtained her juris doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law, where she graduated in two and a half years. During her time in law school, she received the Jurisprudence Award for earning the highest grade in Workers’ Compensation and earned a place on the Dean’s List every semester.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas, located in her hometown of Austin, Texas.
