Pittsburgh’s very own Lamman Rucker takes prime time television to the next level in his new hit starring role, as Jacob “Greenleaf” in Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Television network new drama series, “Greenleaf.”
“I believe this show resonates with so many people because the cast does such an excellent job by driving home the real feel of family and real life issues that many have experienced and can relate to,” said screen actor, activist and educator Rucker. “We are facilitating the dialogue and giving people a program that brings to life some sensitive topics that we don’t always like to talk about. The show is believable.”
“Greenleaf” premiered June 21. The show airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. The show plot takes place in Memphis at Calvary Fellowship World Ministries within the Greenleaf family. Where issues takes place circulating around scandals, secrets, adultery and sibling rivalry. Executive producers for the series are Oprah Winfrey, Clement Virgo and Craig Wright.
