Steelers in hunt for 9th Super Bowl appearance

The way Brown’s 2015 season ended _ out of the lineup while dealing with a concussion as the Steelers let a fourth-quarter lead slip away in the division round against Denver _ still stings. “Any time you finish the year and leave something incomplete, it stays on your mind,” Brown said. Last season when the Steelers had a healthy Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant in the lineup they had the greatest offense in the NFL. But the problem is that Bell will have to sit out the first three games because of suspension, because of drugs, and Bryant has been suspended for the entire season because of drugs. But the Steelers still have one of the best teams in the NFL.
The Steelers finished last season making the playoffs with an 10-6 record. But without Bell and a developing defense they weren’t able to beat the eventual Super Bowl champions Denver Broncos. But this year should be a different story.
The defense has transformed from a young questionable group, to a very fast and athletic group that should be in the middle of the pack in all areas of defense instead of 30th in pass defense, which they were last year.
