The United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania is accepting applications for the position of an Official Court Reporter with an official duty station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with possible travel to satellite courts in Erie and/or Johnstown. All applicants must be certified in Realtime Reporting at the time of hire as a condition of employment. Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation has an immediate opening for a “signature voice” to host weekday editions of NPR’s “Morning Edition” program. The person we’re looking for is an experienced and engaging presenter, with proven success in interviewing, producing, editing and hosting. SDLC Management, Inc. (Greater Pittsburgh, PA area) currently seeking Mainframe Developers to be responsible for analysis, dsgn, dvlpmnt, testing & implmntn of healthcare systems. Specific duties incl: (i) working w/ wide array of business & IT mngmnt to analyze, dsgn, dvlp & test enhancements to legacy systems in the healthcare insurance industry; (ii) dvlp’g mainframe programs using COBOL & JCL; (iii) reading from & writing to IMS databases & VSAM files using IBM; & (iv) performing complex operations on large datasets using DFSORT & ICETOOL. Must hold Master’s degree in Comp Sci, Electronic Eng’g or directly rel’d field or Bach’s degree in one of the same disciplines, together w/ 5 yrs of progressively responsible employment exp in position offered or directly rel’d position.
