Arthur Baldwin, and wife, Justice Cynthia A. Baldwin, had a weekend to remember forever, featuring the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary celebration, June 17 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in McKeesport. Those in attendance included Johannes F. Linn, and wife, Priscilla. Linn is the former retired vice president of the World Bank. A dinner was later held at Stratigos Banquet Centre in North Huntingdon. “Our lives are centered around God, and everything else falls in behind that,” Arthur Baldwin told the New Pittsburgh Courier. “Cynthia is one of the brightest human beings that I’ve met. She’s honest, she’s giving, she’s kind, she does more for other people, and I love her. She is still my best friend.”
When asked about Arthur, or Art, as she calls him, Justice Cynthia Baldwin simply said, “I’m blessed.” She added, “You know, if I bought every lottery ticket, I’d still lose. When I married my husband, I hit the lottery. He’s wonderful.”
