An outstanding Pirates African American luncheon! (Bill Neal's Column June 28)

HAROLD REYNOLDS, BILL NEAL

:10—In case you missed it…Braddock Roy gave me his Top 10 Greatest Athletes of All-Time list and Muhammad Ali was not on it. Need – I – Say – More? C’mon people.
:09—Lonzo Ball, the first-round draft pick by the L.A. Lakers, is as good as the ink. Just stop listening to his dad who, by the way, is a master promoter. Say what you will, but people listen to him and that’s his No. 1 objective, trust me!
:08—And by the way, don’t feel bad for Jimmy Butler. The Minnesota Timberwolves are putting something good together and for what it’s worth, it’s darn near as cold in Chicago in the winter as it is in Minnesota. For those who missed it, the Bulls traded Butler to the T’Wolves on June 22.
:07—Speaking of Minnesota and all things purple, did you know that Prince, the Artist, was a very good basketball player and played for his high school team?
:06—In the immortal words of Sam and Dave, “Hold on, I’m coming.” That’s all the Pirates have to do, is hold on until Mar-Tay Par-Tay gets rolling again. (Better chance of that happening than Polanco turning up the heat!)
