Comcast names Toni Murphy regional vice president

PITTSBURGH, PA.—Toni Murphy has been named vice president of Comcast Business for its Keystone Region, which comprises western, central and northeastern Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and the Maryland panhandle.
In this role, Murphy oversees all aspects of the regional Comcast Business team’s efforts to drive growth.
Murphy joined Comcast in 2008, holding positions in the Chicago and California Regions in Business Support & Analytics and Business Development before being named the Keystone Region’s Vice President, Project Management Office in 2015. In this role, she has led important initiatives like the Netflix launch on the X1 platform. She is and has and will continue to play an important role in driving our culture change toward the Keystone Vision.
Prior to joining Comcast, Murphy worked in private equity at The Gores Group and in investment banking at UBS Investment Bank. She holds a B.A. from Princeton University and is an executive sponsor of Comcast’s Black Employee Network (BEN) and an active leader in Women in Cable & Telecom, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Strong Women Strong Girls and RedChairPGH.
