KSEF Celebrates 27 Years of Giving (Debbie's Lifestyles Photos July 5)

On June 3 at the LeMont Restaurant, the Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund (KSEF) held their 27th Annual High School Scholarship Luncheon. With Eric Cofield as luncheon chair and CAPA High School students providing the soundtrack, over $400,000 in financial awards were granted to some very talented students. The 2017 Scholarship Recipients included: Liza Wilson—KSEF/UPMC Award, Noah E. Washington—KSEF/Highmark—Aaron Walton Award, Jordan E. Scott—KSEF Award, Peggy N. Phillip—KSEF Award, Mikelle C. Miles—Robert Morris Award, Amanda Talbot—Penn State Award, Makenzie Wright —Penn State Award and Dax R. Craig Jr. receiving the KSEF Thomas Motley Award named after KSEF founder Thomas Motley.

This year three scholarships were awarded for Community College of Allegheny County. The recipients were: Matthew Adams, Dennis Holmes Jr. and Diamond Regan, all are graduates of Westinghouse High School.
