The sale rack first (July 12, 2017)

Here is a report for those of you who live in the east suburbs or perhaps used to live east of Pittsburgh. The old Sears on William Penn Highway is almost completely torn down. It is very sad to see that building go. That was where I had my first management job. I was a division manager in the fabric and notions department. I had some great days at Sears Penn Center. In front of the Sears there was a restaurant called John Harvard’s. Well, that has been torn down and a good source told me that is going to be a Texas Roadhouse. If you were excited about the reopening of The Italian Oven in Monroeville next to Big Lots, get over it. The restaurant is now closed as well as the Bar Louie in Station Square. I saw the Bar Louie signs being removed last week. Where do they take those signs? A few have landed inside of the John Heinz History Center. I’ll keep you posted on what’s new and what’s changing.
