:06—High school football is right around the corner. Let’s get ready to support our high school students and football programs on all levels. And remember, you’re not playing anything but the radio on the way home from the game.
:05—It’s back and almost here. The Fourth Annual Pittsburgh City League High School All-Sports Hall of Fame Awards. And we’re getting ready for a fourth consecutive sellout crowd. And I know it’s about to be true because this year’s class will feature the induction of both the 1966 and 1971 Schenley High School city and state basketball teams. Saturday, Oct. 7 at the historic August Wilson Center, 6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. awards. Tickets are $50. Next week in this column we will announce the top 50 names being considered for induction!
