VIDEO – Woodland Hills High School principal Kevin Murray quits as football coach and now, principal of the school (watch exclusive video of Murray being appointed coach)

The man at the center of the Woodland Hills School District’s recent controversy has had enough.
Kevin Murray, the high school’s principal who was secretly recorded using explicit language to a Woodland Hills student in late 2016, including threatening to knock the student’s teeth out, and who just a few months ago was appointed the school’s football coach, has officially resigned from both positions.
The school board accepted Murray’s resignation on Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The New Pittsburgh Courier recorded exclusive video of Murray’s official appointment to replace legendary coach George Novak as head coach in April. The vast majority of the public that attended were unhappy with the 5-4 affirmative vote by the Woodland Hills School Board. At the time, Murray was still principal of the school. Since July 1, he  has been on unpaid leave as principal due to his state administrator’s certification not yet being effective with the PA Department of Education.
