The nearly 350 excited supporters filled the auditorium to applaud the fourth Hall of Fame class, including the fallen champions, coaches corner, legends who paved the way and the class of 2017.
Everyone stood as a student member of CAPA sang the national anthem. Presentation by school board director, Regina Holley, and welcome intro by McErnie Bey and Achieving Greatness CEO, Bill Neal, moved the program into the fast lane.
Special thanks of course go out to the 2017 Hall of Fame committee, Curt Hefflin, Fred Lucas, Gina Thorpe, Carmen Filloy, Lorena Mitchell, Cathy Speaks, Charlene Coleman, Warren Wilson, April Payne and a cast of thousands.
