Janet Jackson never left me my tickets, and gotta get our kids while they’re young…(Dec. 6, 2017)

BILL NEAL

:10—While you Pittsburghers continue to speak, question, challenge, boycott/or not and all the other things you claim to care about as it relates to the Colin Kaepernick movement, I will remind you once again that you have near-zero Black or female on-air radio and TV personalities in this city and/or county, but you just keep doing what you’re doing. Don’t worry. Somebody else will fix it as always!
:09—Yea, here’s a movie review for ya. Hey Denzel, just cause you won a couple Oscars don’t mean you can make any ole movie. This payday you got for Roman J. Israel, Esquire send me my money back, man! Only two basketballs.
:08—Tiger’s back. I said it a year ago and I’m sticking to it. Tiger will win another major, maybe two. All he has to do is leave the drugs alone (prescription?) and break out the little black book.
:07—Helmets off to the Gateway High School football team. They’re going trophy hunting for a state title.
:06—I know the Ravens look respectable to you, but let’s be reminded…Big Ed …that was the Lions they beat up on this past Sunday, Dec. 3! We’ll see what happens when the Ravens have to play my Steelers, this Sunday, Dec. 10 over at Heinz Field…
:05—Hey, I’ve been as big a critic as anybody about Pitt and Duquesne basketball, but I have to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised at the 10,000-plus that turned out for the City Game last Friday night, and not a bad game, not a bad game at all. And the truth is the truth. They are, in fact, two young teams with little big-time experience trying to find their way. Let’s see!!!
:04—Easy call for the Steeler “Prime-Time” Monday game with the Cincy Bengals. Not a cakewalk, but Steelers 31–Cincy 17. I had them winning by 14, but once again, too close for comfort. Steelers ended up winning, 23-20…I’ll take it.
:03—Don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad at “Janet”…Jackson man! For not returning my calls again. I’m sad about her not leaving me my tickets. You can laugh if you want, but it’s not funny. And she didn’t break your heart.
:02—Look, I don’t go here often. Yes, I feel for the families of our young men getting killed in the streets. And Lord knows I’ve done all I can to help stop it. But we all…parents, families, churches, police, schools, VIPs, celebs, must work harder to get to our kids when they’re young, 7-8-9-10 and teach them the right way to go. By the time they are 13-14-15-16…it’s too late!
:01—Speaking of which, if I was in charge and I heard about some guy that has a history of gathering crowds of 500, 750, 1,000 people at events for 40 years plus and never…never…never–ever having a violent incident while teaching youth and servicing the community in a major way with big time names like Connie Hawkins, Kenny Durrett, Willie Stargell, Franco Harris and others, I would go get him, give him a boatload of money and say keep doing what you’re doing. I’m just sayin!!!
:00—GAME OVER.
