Truth is . . .The New England Patriots will win the Super Bowl for one reason and one reason only. K-A-R-M-A Baby! (And no, for you Brashear grads, it’s not spelled with a “C”) Anyway, that reason being the James Harrison effect. And while we’re at it add in the Legarrette Blount effect as well. (He off the Philadelphia Eagle running back brigade.) Not always, but sometimes when you do people wrong, it comes back to bite you in the a–! The Pittsburgh Steelers misrepresented and disrespected both men and they’re both in the big game because they didn’t deserve it. Call it what you want, but it comes up karma anyway you spell it.
Truth is . . .I am continually amazed that the powers that be never recognize their more than obvious racist behavior. Yes. Do away with the “Indian” name in Cleveland and Washington and anywhere else. “Can it be any clearer than the color on your face?”
Truth is . . .The Pittsburgh Pirates are more than happy to take you for a ride as long as you’re willing to mount up. But trust me when I tell ya no ace pitchers . . . no killer closers . . . and no home run hitters . . . no World Series!
Truth is . . .There are three sho-nuff things in the world.
#1 The sun will rise in the morning;
#2 Some day, some way, we’re all going to die; and
#3 The Godfather . . . aka “Popeye” will keep Donora, PA in check. Happy 76th Pie!
