Greg Spencer bestowed the Livingstone M. Johnson Legacy Award

Pittsburgh Public Schools and MedExpress received Whitney M. Young Jr. Service awards, while Randall Chemical Manufacturing Company president Greg Spencer received the Livingstone M. Johnson Legacy Endowment Award, at the 2018 Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Awards.
The event and dinner was held Feb. 15 at Fairmont Pittsburgh, recognizing outstanding service to the development of Scoutreach, the Boy Scouts of America’s commitment to making sure that all young people have the opportunity to join scouting, regardless of their circumstances, neighborhood, or ethnic background. The Laurel Highlands Council serves 16,000 area youngsters.

“Anyone who knows Greg would agree that he has made a very impactful difference with many low-income youngsters in both Pittsburgh and Washington, Pa., and is a deserving recipient of the distinguished Judge Livingstone M. Johnson Legacy Endowment Award,” local Boy Scouts of America district director Brooke Parker said.
Spencer is also Chairman of the Board of the Poise Foundation.
