The American Heart Association’s 29th annual Pittsburgh Heart Ball was filled with glitz, glamour and purpose. Held Feb. 17 at the Wyndham Grand, Downtown, funds raised from the ball are used to support cardiovascular research, professional and public education, school site programs, and advocacy efforts throughout the year. The event highlighted lifesaving advancements in cardiovascular research and increased awareness of local programs offered to help improve the health of communities that have the greatest need for prevention, education and health intervention.
