Case Manager
Human Services Administration Organization, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Drug & Alcohol Case Manager. Duties: The incumbent will provide a full range of case management services for clients diagnosed with drug or alcohol problems. This person will insure that clients have access to services in a continuum of care. Responsibilities include: Conducting interviews; Determining appropriate funding arrangements and authorizing services for clients with drug or alcohol problems; Orienting and guiding clients through the program, policy, procedures, and treatment process; Preparing written reports and maintaining several client records; Managing several client caseloads and carrying out work under the direction of a case manager or higher level administrative personnel; Monitoring of service delivery. Requires: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field and one-year direct service experience performing counseling or case management work in alcohol or other drug treatment settings.
