ANJI CORLEY, right, and Andrea Feczko are the co-hosts of “Vacation Creation,” a nationally-syndicated show which airs on ABC stations each weekend. In Pittsburgh, it airs on WTAE-TV Channel 4 most Sundays at 12:30 p.m. Corley, a Pitt graduate, formerly hosted mornings on WAMO Radio.

:10—Look, Look, Look…I know you’re still waiting for the next music memory to be bestowed upon you. And here it is (and you know it’s the bomb because I’m starting off with it). If you lived anytime between 1968 and 1978 you’ve got this in your mix somewhere…The legendary Four Tops classic and underrated, “Still Waters.” One of the greatest and most underappreciated LP’s of all-time. Mannnn, I am talking about a serious stroll down memory lane that will put a smile on your face and “Joy” in your heart. Now go get it. And you’re welcome.
:09—Now that the Lakers have truly lost their NBA minds I’ll commit early to Golden State for the next three years. Are you kidding me? Frank Who? Oh, Frank Vogel! No, I had it right… Frank Who?
:08—As far as the NBA East goes, my pick was the 76ers, but can you believe that last-second buzzer beater Kawhi Leonard hit for Toronto??!! CRAZY! So it’s Toronto vs. Milwaukee for the East title. And needless to say, if the Warriors can take out Houston even without Kevin Durant…yea, I got the Warriors to win it all. They’re playing Portland in the West finals.
:07—Here’s the good news…Your Pittsburgh Steelers report to training camp July 25. First game without “B & B,” preseason opener Friday, Aug. 9 versus Tampa Bay at home – 7:30 p.m. “Here we go, Steelers, Here we go!”
:06—A little shoutout to one Albert Pujols, clean Albert, non-steroid Albert for accomplishing something only one other player has ever accomplished in Major League history. That’s right, two men in the entirety of Major League Baseball have 3,000 hits, 2,000 runs batted in and 600 home runs—Albert, after driving in his 2,000th run last Friday night and the inestimable Hank Aaron. Take that, you Advanced Metric nerds.
:05—Pittsburgh, here’s a proud and well-deserved atta-girl to our very own Anji Corley, formerly of WAMO. If you haven’t seen it, she’s co-hosting a national travel program called “Vacation Creation” that airs on most Sundays at 12:30 p.m. on WTAE-TV (Channel 4). And she’s beautiful and fabulous. Another Pittsburgh champion. Corley formerly hosted the WAMO morning show with Sly Jock, and later with GQ, along with hosting the midday show. She also was a radio personality in Washington, D.C., New York, and Sirius XM. Corley also hosted a digital travel series, “Local Eyes.” She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
:04—Speaking of champions, the 45th consecutive Willie “Pops” Stargell Pittsburgh MVP Awards and Connie Hawkins Pro/Am Summer Basketball League Hall of Fame Inductions will be held Saturday, June 15. Here’s to you, “Pops!” We are still “Fam-I-lee!” For information call Achieving Greatness Inc. at 412-628-4856.
:03—How about your boy Tiger Woods going to the White House to kiss Donald Trump’s butt. C’mon, Tiger, represent at least once, will ya!?!
:02—Say what you want about the Pittsburgh Pirates, they’re in the fight and they give you what they got, especially “Cool” Josh Bell. And trust me when I tell ya, there’s not a better time to be had than a night at PNC Park. Try it, you’ll like it.
:01—It’s “on” and poppin’ now, to be sure. “Soul Take—Champions Live!” Western PA’s #1 sports talk show. Starring Kevin Cameron, Bill Neal and a cast of celebs and sports V.I.P’s. Tune in every Saturday on urbanmediatoday.com. If you want to come on the show call me at 412-628-4856.
