The 2019 City League Track & Field titles belong to Allderdice

ONCE AGAIN, Allderdice reigns supreme in Track & Field in the City League. Both the boys (below) and girls (above) teams finished first at the meet, held May 9 and 11 at Oliver. (Photos by Courier photographer Will McBride)

THE OBAMA GIRLS RELAY TEAM finished first with a time of 54.32.

TYONNA WALKER OF BRASHEAR won the 800 meters with a time of 2:46.86.

ALLDERDICE SENIOR GIANNA GRIFFIN won the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.49. Griffin is a former New Pittsburgh Courier intern.

MONTEZ NEWSOME OF WESTINGHOUSE won both the 200 and 400 meters with times of 24.20 and 54.02.

RAVEN HASTON OF OBAMA won both the 100 and 200 meters with times of 12.47 and 26.17.
