Braddock Borough employee Phyllis J. Anderson graduates from Pitt’s GSPIA

The New Pittsburgh Courier has learned that Phyllis J. Anderson, a native of Lincoln-Lemington, recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) with a master’s degree in Public Policy & Management.

Upon completion of the master’s program, Anderson was awarded with the International City/County Management Authority’s (ICMA) Certificate for Local Government Early Career Service as well as the Gloria Fitzgibbons Memorial Award for her strong academic performance and demonstrated leadership potential in the fields of Public Affairs and Planning.

Anderson is currently working in local government with the Borough of Braddock, where she is gaining skills towards her career goal of being a City Manager.
