Dear Editor:
Its ironic that one pro athlete can disrupt two teams with childish behavior on and off the field, be indignant to coaches and officials, and not spend one day unemployed. While another pro athlete is ostracized because he kneeled in protest of the treatment of his people in this so called United States Of America. He refused to pledge allegiance to a lie.
We turn a blind eye to this disrespect which points out our lack of power and unity. We may grumble but still tolerate this obvious racial indignity.
Gil Scott Heron said, “Whatever happened to the protest and the rage…” For me, I’m done with the NFL.
