JERUSALEM WOMEN’S DAY WEEKEND
OCTOBER 19-20—The Jerusalem Baptist Church, 123 Steuben St., invites all to their Women’s Day weekend. Rev. Marie Kelly, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Hill District, will be the guest preacher for the women’s day luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. The guest preacher for the Women’s Day Worship service at 11 am on Sunday, Oct. 20, is Rev. Avis Williams of First Baptist Church, West Mifflin. The luncheon Donation is $15 on Oct. 19. For more information, call 412-921-0822.

CARRONE PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY
OCTOBER 20—Carrone Baptist Church will celebrate the Seventh Year Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Alonzo Murphy Jr. There will be a 10:30 a.m. service led by Pastor Richard Lonnie Freeman Sr. of Resurrection Baptist Church. The theme for the days is, seven years of “Walking Faithfully With God,” based on 1 Corinthians 2:5, “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” For more information, call 412-687-1819.

PRAYER BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER
OCTOBER 26—Hope Chapel Church, 1028 Chartiers Avenue, is holding a prayer breakfast fundraiser to benefit the congregation of Sheraden United Methodist Church, 2966 Chartiers Ave., which recently lost their church building due to a fire. The breakfast will be held at Hope Chapel Church from 9 a.m. to noon. A free will offering is being asked at the prayer breakfast, with all proceeds presented to Sheraden United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 27 during their service at Christ Community Church in McKees Rocks. ASPINWALL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FALL BAZAAR
NOVEMBER 9—Aspinwall Presbyterian Church, 299 Center Ave., is holding its annual Fall Bazaar from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the church. There will be attic treasures, home goods, seasonal decorations, toys, furniture, a hot lunch and bake sale.
