Rivers Club Soul Food & Jazz – A SCRUMPTIOUS NIGHT (Debbie’s Lifestyles Photos Nov. 20)

WELCOME TO THE RIVERS CLUB—Christian Wingate, Yolanda Wingate and Camisha Wingate

It has been said that what’s on the menu can make or break an event. On October 5, at the Rivers Club in Oxford Center it was all about the jazz and the soul food for the Annual Rivers Club Soul Food & Jazz Night. The menu was created by Chef Jimmy G and his amazing culinary team. More than 200 guests dined on fried chicken, catfish, ribs, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, greens, cornbread, sweet potato pie, bananas foster, peach and cherry cobbler.

The music was just as scrumptious as the food with Tubby Daniels and Anita Levels in one room and vocalist Charelle Unique & Sugar in the main ballroom. After dinner DJ Nick Nice got everyone on the dance floor.

Pittsburghers look forward to this great evening and the event sells out quickly. This year former Pittsburghers enjoyed a great evening as well. Francine Outen who now resides in Atlanta was spotted as well as Paula Waters from the DMV.
