The Neighborhood Academy, a private, college-preparatory school at 709 N. Aiken Ave., recently held a school fundraiser with none other than the legend himself, Smokey Robinson. Robinson has his own line of wines, and some were available for purchase at the evening event. The Neighborhood Academy serves students in grades 6-12, many of whom come from families that demonstrate a financial need.
