ACUTE PAIN/REGIONAL
ANESTHESIOLOGIST
University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks an Acute Pain/Regional Anesthesiologist to work in Pittsburgh (Allegheny County), PA and unanticipated locations. Direct and plan the administration of anesthesia for assigned patients; review pre-procedure testing and conduct preoperative evaluation of the patient and develop plan of care; responsible for documentation of all aspects of anesthesia care directly administered; responsible for consultations and communication between Surgeons, patients, family members, and other Anesthesia staff; evaluation and management of anesthetic and analgesic nerve blocks in patients undergoing surgery or trauma; implementation of multi-modal pain management technics in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
