Courier exclusive: Pittsburgh African Americans protest the unjust killing of George Floyd (video)

Thousands of people descended upon Downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday, May 30, protesting the unjust killing of George Floyd, a Black man in Minneapolis, by a White Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin. The incident in Minneapolis occurred May 25. Chauvin and three other officers were fired the following day, and on Friday, May 29, Chauvin was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.

Protests have been occurring in cities all across America, and Pittsburgh was no different. The New Pittsburgh Courier captured this video below of some of the speakers at the protest and views of the massive crowd that turned out.
