Jeffrey W. Everett, 63, of Pittsburgh, PA (Homewood), died on Thursday, February 19, 2021.
He attended Westinghouse High School and graduated from St. Thomas Catholic Church. Served as a community leader and mentor to many young women and men at the Homewood YMCA.
He had a long career in the trade industry working major commercial and residential renovations throughout the city. Notably, he recently worked to complete revitalization projects in East Liberty.
Jeffrey leaves to cherish his memory his two sons for whom he was extremely proud of: Elijah M. Everett and Jamal L. Everett. (Atlanta, GA). He also leaves his mother Sarah Taylor (Zack) and siblings— Hakeem Everett, Victoria Young, Denise Jones (Pittsburgh, PA), April Cunningham (Darrell) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Tonya Simmons (Aliquippa, PA). His ‘other’ brothers: Fitch, Ritter, “Strib”, Nate, “Digit”, Bankhead, Brock , “Chase”, the Gudger twins & Sabeer, his Westinghouse Bulldog Family and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews and extended family.
Services will be held at Carrone Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 12:00pm
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the YMCA St. 7140 Bennett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15208. Arrangements by Spriggs & Watson, Homewood.
