Bloomfield Development Corporation seeking new board members

Bloomfield Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is accepting applications to serve on its board of directors! Made up of residents, business owners, community stakeholders, and at-large members, BDC’s board members are responsible for governing the organization and have a commitment to transparency and diversity.

All community members are welcome and encouraged to apply! BDC is particularly interested in residents who are Pittsburgh Public Schools parents, individuals of diverse age, race, and gender identities, and those with experience in financial or marketing fields.

A Registered Community Organization, BDC works for a Bloomfield where everyone can build a home, a business, and a future. We accomplish our mission through resident support and community engagement, small business promotion, housing advocacy, community process for new development, and the Bloomfield Saturday Market. For more information, visit www.bloomfieldpgh.org.

A virtual meet-and-greet will be held for prospective board members on Zoom on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Click HERE for meeting details and Zoom Link! Applicant interviews may take place through alternative communications such as phone calls and Zoom this year.
