Davis, who passed away at age 75 last year, was an immovable force in the betterment of Braddock. “She helped everybody; was very involved in the community. A lifelong resident, just a nice woman,” Phillips said. Carey added that Davis played a major role in the planning of the Braddock Civic Plaza, where the Community Day was held.
