The New Pittsburgh Courier is happy to announce its Class of 2021 Women of Excellence Award recipients.
These phenomenal women will join a group of distinguished leaders and community stakeholders and will be celebrated during an Awards Dinner that will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 6-9 p.m., at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square, 300 W. Station Square Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa 15219.
These women who have been selected are businesswomen, mothers, wives, philanthropists, daughters, entrepreneurs and, moreover, African American women who are a vital part of the community. The Courier recognizes this and is excited to highlight, and celebrate, the ladies’ hard work and accomplishments.
This year’s honorees were selected from nominations that were submitted by our readers, earlier this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its everchanging status, planning for the honor had been delayed, a bit.
