Allderdice is back on top.
Westinghouse held the City League football crown for the past two seasons, and many believed that the Bulldogs, clad in Westinghouse Blue, would cruise over the green-spirited Dragons to win title number three in a row, similar to the Chicago Bulls, who won three straight titles in the ‘90s — twice.
But on this day before Halloween, it was Allderdice that had all the treats, schematically keeping Westinghouse off the scoreboard for the entire 48 minutes, en route to a 14-0 victory.
Allderdice last won the City League title in back-to-back years, 2017 and 2018.
